"...The bun is a light ciabatta style bread, the burger peppery with that rich steak taste, the bacon lightly smoked but full of flavour and the Stilton cheese creamy yet wonderfully pungent. It's clear that the quality ingredients are fresh and the combination is epic. The chips are simply incredible with the perfect balance of truffle and Parmesan that is moorish in the extreme. Dare I say it, these are the best chips in town."


Dining at The Dispensary

When you eat at The Dispensary, you know that David Cambridge – the chef who has cooked for the rich and for Royalty – is cooking for you. The Dispensary Menu, available at lunch and dinner, mixes classic favourites with his inspired signature dishes that let the freshest ingredients shine. David sources personally from the London markets and picks only the best produce to create the most delicious food. His passion and love for cooking is clearly reflected in the vibrant menus.

“I am very happy to design a personal menu, served for a party of guests in one of our private dining rooms. The customer gives us a budget and a ‘taste’ in advance and I design around that – French or English style, it’s their choice. We offer five courses, all matched to fine wines. I try to bespoke every menu, improvising to create something different each time.”

The Goodman's Room seats up to eight covers for a fine dining experience. Upstairs, the Wellington Room offers a larger dining space for up to 30 guests. Private dinners can be served plated, or with full waiter or butler service – both rooms evoke a feel of country house elegance, in the heart of the City.
